Camera Framing
For video depositions, how closely the videographer zooms in on the witness can have a positive or negative impact on how a jury/judge will perceive the witness. Most state and federal code sections regarding video depositions require the videographer to record in a “neutral” manner. A medium shot should be used. This will include a little of the table in the shot along with adequate head room and properly positioned nose room.
